What Font is best for Block Letters?
There are a lot of font letters nowadays. Whether they are free to use, or you have to pay for some. So far, Sans Serif has become the most widely used font for display and block lettering. There are many types and variations of Sans Serif font. They are Grotesque that came from the earliest Sans Serif design that showcases a solid, bold design perfect for headlines and advertisements. Including in this type are Franklin Gothic, News Gothic, and Akzidenz-Grotesk.
Neo-grotesque is developed from the grotesque Sans Serif. Neo-grotesque appears more moderns and straightforward. Including in this type are Arial, Geneva, and Impact.
Geometric fonts are based on geometric symmetry. Including in this type are Futura and Eurostile fonts.
Humanist types are inspired by traditional calligraphy. They involve stroke modulation alternate thick and thin strokes makes it different from other Sans Serif fonts.
The informal type is a diverse type of Sans Serif. Including in this type are Italo, Barrio, and Bahiana.
What is the Difference Between Capital Letters and Block Letters?
Capital letters refer to uppercase letters as the opposite of lowercase letters. Capital letters are also called big letters to make it easier for children to learn, while lowercase letters are called small letters. Block letters refer to a style of writing. It is written disconnected as the opposite of cursive letters. Block letters usually (but not always) written or typed in uppercase to make it stand out and easier to read. Capital letters don't have to be bold, while block letters are usually bold to grab attention. Block letters are usually used for tittles, while we can find capital letters everywhere on the body text.

Block Letter Drawing Easy
This morning I’d like to show you how to draw block letters. This is a really easy lesson that is perfect for beginners.
You’ll learn how to draw the word ART, but you can adapt it to any word you want to draw. Once you get the basics down for drawing block letters, you’ll be able to create all kinds of fancy looking letters and words.
The possibilities will be endless.
Let’s begin with the list of art supplies that were used to do this demonstration. There are many different supplies that could be used. For most artists this is a personal preference. If you are a beginner artist, you will learn what you like and don’t like to use through practice and a little bit of time.

Art Supplies
A in Block Letters
Begin by drawing in a couple of horizontal lines to use as guides for the top and bottom of your letters. This will make it easier to make your letters the same size.
Draw your first letter in whatever style you want it to be. Make sure it touches the top and bottom guidelines.
Next, draw lines that are equal distances away from your initial letter. Do this for both the outside and the inside of your A. The top and bottom of your letters will extend past your guidelines.
Rotating your paper as you draw will make it easier to have even placement of your lines.
R in Block Letters
Follow the same process for your next letter, in this case it’s an R. Again, making sure your letter touches the top and bottom guidelines. There are numerous ways to draw this letter. Make yours look however you’re comfortable with it.

Rotating your paper as you work, draw your lines evenly spaced around your initial R letter. There are many ways to draw the letters. Don’t be afraid to add a little style to yours. We all form our letters slightly different, and that’s perfectly fine. You want your letters to be drawn in your own style.
How to Draw Block Letter T
The final letter for this example is a T. Draw your T so it reaches the top and bottom guidelines.
Repeat the same process as you did with the previous letters to complete your T.

Next, trace over your pencil lines with a black marker. At this point there are an endless number of possibilities for finishing your letters and turning them into a work of art.

To finish off my drawing I added some shading to the inside edges. Of course there are many more options to finishing this drawing. I thought about adding some color or just doing colors without the Zentangles.
