One main issue with OmniDiskSweeper is that it won't allow for deleting any files owned by root. That can be useful for protecting the user, but there should be a run as admin mode for when you need to clean up de-installaitons that left files behind. The Omni Group has posted updates to its OmniOutliner and OmniDiskSweeper utilities. Both updates are available for online download.
OmniOutliner is an outlining tool devised for organizing ideas. The software provides a streamlined interfaced designed specifically for outlining, and can also manage columnar tabulation and attached notes. OmniOutliner also exports to HTML, OPML, RTF and plain text. The new version, v2.2.4, provides localization updates recommend for French users.

OmniDiskSweeper is a disk cleaning tool for Mac OS X. The software makes space by finding and deleting unwanted files; you can use OmniDiskSweeper to browse through directories and delete large files you’re not using any more. It updates information on free disk space so you stay up to date on disk usage too.

It shows you everything on your hard drive, ranked by size, so you can see which files and folders are taking up a lot of space — which helps you figure out what you can delete, or move somewhere else, so you can free up disk space.
The updates for Catalina include a Dark Mode About Panel, fixed handling of Catalina volumes, and removal of an unneeded notification.
But do note that Catalina will ask for permissions for OmniDiskSweeper to access various things — it might ask, for instance, if it can access your contacts. This is because it’s looking at the sizes of all your files, which includes the files that contain your contacts.

But it’s not actually reading your contacts, files in your Documents folder, and so on — it’s just looking at file sizes.
